Fortressed
Theatre 29 brings Fortressed to its Twentynine Palms stage for a June run of source-visible performances beginning Saturday, June 13. The original political comedy/farce by Sharianne Greer is set in a fairy-tale version of old England, where hungry peasants, oblivious nobles, rolling riots, and official confusion collide. The production's public ticketing and county calendar listings frame the show as a sharp-witted sendup of privilege, protest, power, and incompetence, with a Monty Python-like edge. Theatre 29's ticketing page lists the production as suitable for ages 13 and up. Current public performance listings show eight dates: June 13, 14, 19, 20, 21, 26, 27, and 28. Older season materials describe a broader June 12-28 window, but the current official ticketing surface and county series page do not expose a June 12 performance, so the Gazette calendar follows the visible performance schedule.
