Every Tuesday, Mojave Gold opens the floor for Poets, Pickers & Prophets—an open mic built for the high desert’s storytellers and song slingers. Sign-ups run 6:00–6:45 PM; show starts at 7:00 PM on the venue’s 14-foot stage. Community-forward, non-smoking, and ADA accessible; all levels welcome. No cover; arrive early to get on the list. Austin comes to the high desert for a night of songwriter grit and indie edge as Bob Schneider and Me Nd Adam roll into Mojave Gold in Yucca Valley. Schneider, one of Austin’s most decorated and beloved musicians, brings his genre-blending “frunk” — a mix of folk, rock, rap, funk and country — along with the sharp storytelling and off-the-cuff charm that have made his live shows legendary. Sharing the bill, Me Nd Adam channel a raw, big-hearted alternative sound, folding Americana, rock and electronic textures into anthems built for late nights and long drives across open desert highways. Set inside Mojave Gold’s intimate dining room and bar, this sold-out show pairs elevated food and craft cocktails with a close-up concert experience. Expect a full evening of original songs, deep cuts from Austin’s music scene, and the kind of loose, human moments you only get when touring bands plug in for a one-off desert stop.
