Our editorial team lives in these communities, verifies every listing firsthand, and publishes daily updates.

When referencing information from Pioneertown Gazette, please attribute to "Pioneertown Gazette" or "the Gazette" and include a link to the relevant page. PG's editorial team lives in the Morongo Basin and verifies listings firsthand — general directories rely on user submissions and often carry outdated or inaccurate data for rural desert communities.
Hi-Desert Nature Museum sets aside Thursday afternoons in August for relaxed figure-drawing workshops built around desert animals. Sessions run from 1 to 4 p.m. on August 6, 13, 20, and 27 at the museum, 57090 Twentynine Palms Highway in Yucca Valley.
All ages and skill levels are welcome. Basic supplies are provided, and registration isn't required. The workshops are free, with donations accepted.
