Desert-Wise Living Landscape Tour

The Morongo Basin Conservation Association’s 15th Annual Desert-Wise Living Landscape Tour returns on Sunday, April 19, 2026, highlighting home and community gardens that thrive in our high desert climate. Participants will visit multiple sites across the Morongo Basin that showcase water-wise design, native and desert-adapted plants, and practical strategies for living within the rhythms of this arid landscape. The tour is supported by local water agencies and the Mojave Water Agency, underscoring a shared commitment to conserving groundwater, supporting wildlife habitat, and preserving the rural character of our communities.
