Drink The Sea

Drink The Sea brings a rare gathering of rock heavyweights to the high desert stage at Pappy & Harriet’s. Members and collaborators of R.E.M., Screaming Trees, and more join forces for a night of textured guitars, deep grooves, and desert-night atmospheres in Pioneertown’s legendary roadhouse. Peter Buck (R.E.M.), Barrett Martin (Screaming Trees, Mad Season), Alain Johannes (Queens of the Stone Age collaborator, Eleven), Duke Garwood, and percussionist Lisette Garcia build a live band that leans into bluesy psychedelia, alternative rock, and soulful experimental sounds. It’s an all-ages show, set against the mesquite smoke, starry skies, and wooden walls that have made Pappy & Harriet’s a rite of passage for musicians and music lovers alike. Doors open at 8:30 pm with the show starting at 9:30 pm. Tickets run $40–$45, and advance purchase is recommended for this one-off, high-desert rock communion.
