Space Jam

Space Jam returns to The Historic Plaza in Twentynine Palms for a free Sunday-night glow dance party from Sun of the Desert's 29 Palms shop. The second annual event runs from 7 to 10 p.m. on Sunday, August 16. DJ MMB plays a Daft Punk tribute set while JOSHR makes live black-light mural art at the Plaza. The Area 29 Galactic Gathering expands beyond the dance floor. The lineup also includes Planet Zelatron by Mojave Moon Apothecary, Space Portraits by Kurt Hamm, the Lunar Cocktail Bar with souvenir glow-in-the-dark cups, and sweet treats by Galaxy Pies.
