The fourth annual Twentynine Palms Book Festival fills the Twentynine Palms Community Center at Freedom Plaza from Friday, November 13, through Sunday, November 15. More than 100 authors join over 50 independent authors, publishers, bookstores and literary organizations, with more than 20 panels, talks, workshops, screenings and offsite events across the weekend.
The Community Center Book Fair is open from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day. Talks and offsite programs run on their own schedules, so check the festival agenda before heading out.
Desert General organizes the festival, with Joshua Tree National Park Association as a partner and co-sponsor. Admission is free, and advance registration is available through Eventbrite. The Community Center is at 6547 Freedom Way in Twentynine Palms.
