Smith speaks from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, October 10, at Patriotic Hall beside the Luckie Park Activity Center. Arrive via 74325 Joe Davis Drive in Twentynine Palms and follow directions to the adjacent hall. Admission is free, with limited seating available first come, first served. The Night Sky Festival is co-presented by the Joshua Tree National Park Association and Sky’s The Limit Observatory & Nature Center.
