The Night Sky Star Party opens more than 20 staffed telescopes at Sky's The Limit Observatory & Nature Center on Saturday, October 10, from 7 to 11 p.m. The observatory campus is at 9697 Utah Trail in Twentynine Palms. Joshua Tree National Park Association and Sky's The Limit present the evening as part of the 2026 Night Sky Festival.
Adult tickets for ages 12 and older are $75, plus a $5.04 fee. Child tickets for ages 6 through 12 are $35, plus a $3.04 fee, and children age five and younger attend free. The ticket selector lists age 12 in both paid tiers, so families with a 12-year-old should confirm the appropriate ticket before purchase.
Children must be supervised. The campus has uneven natural terrain, so sturdy footwear is recommended. Bring a red light to protect everyone's night vision. Pets are prohibited.
